Cookie Policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

Orbo uses only the cookies it cannot work without, none for advertising or tracking, so there is nothing to opt in to.

1. On the website and tracking pages

Orbo's home page, the legal pages, and the tracking (/t/…), bill (/b/…) and payment (/pay/…) pages a customer opens set no cookies and keep nothing in your browser. There is no advertising, analytics or tracking script on them. The one remembered choice is that you have seen the cookie notice, kept in your browser's local storage.

2. When you sign in

Signing in to the console or the driver screen uses Clerk, our sign-in service. It sets cookies that are strictly necessary:

  • Session and client cookies (such as __session, __client_uat), keep you signed in and tell the site whether you are. Up to a year; cleared when you sign out.
  • Bot protection on Clerk's sign-in domain (such as __cf_bm), short-lived, to keep automated traffic out.

Clerk also keeps its own settings in local storage.

3. Maps

Maps are drawn from OpenFreeMap tiles fetched by your browser. That is a request to their server (your IP address and the area shown), not a cookie.

4. Your choice

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The public pages work without them; signing in does not. If Orbo ever adds a cookie that is not essential, it will stay off until you turn it on, and this page will list it. See also the Privacy Policy.
